Privacy policy
This policy describes information processed when parents use Gia Sư Nhí with their child. Please only create profiles for children in your care.
Information we process
- Parent account information such as full name, email, and a hashed password for login.
- Learning profile information entered by parents, such as the child's preferred name and grade.
- Homework, answers, learning feedback, and progress history saved when you use the relevant features.
- Homework photos and handwritten answer photos if parents or children choose to submit them.
- Session cookies needed for login and protecting account actions.
- Technical data and basic visit information through Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used.
- Information parents submit through the contact form, including full name, email, subject, and message; the time and privacy notice version are saved with the request.
How information is used and shared
Information is used to create and protect accounts, provide practice exercises, process homework, show progress, support families, and maintain the service.
To generate AI feedback, questions, answers, grade information, and relevant photos may be sent to the AI provider currently used by the system, including Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or OpenRouter. These providers process the content to generate results; their own retention policies may also apply. Avoid unnecessary personal information in photos or questions.
Reading practice may use browser speech recognition if the device supports it and microphone permission is granted. The browser or its recognition provider may process audio under their own policies. The website does not upload or store recordings for this feature; comparison with the sample runs only on the current page.
The website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits. Analytics events do not send names, emails, children's names, homework content, or photos. Essential hosting providers may also process data to keep the website running.
Contact messages are stored to handle requests. When an administrator replies, your email address and the reply are sent through the configured email service, and reply history is stored in the system.
Homework photos and retention
Photos submitted for checking are currently stored in the website's file system, and their links are used to display results again. Anyone with a direct photo link can open it, so please crop photos and avoid including documents, addresses, phone numbers, or other private information.
Messages and email reply history are retained in the admin inbox to handle requests. Automatic deletion periods are not currently configured; parents may request access, correction, or deletion through the contact details below.
The app currently has no published automatic deletion period or self-service account deletion button. To ask about accessing, correcting, or deleting data, email [email protected]. Deleting a profile in the system does not mean stored photos will be automatically deleted.
Children's privacy
Parents create and manage accounts. Please guide your child with appropriate supervision, review AI feedback, and contact us with questions about your family's information.
